Note on the Lower part of the Quena
In this Lesson we want you to familiarize with the notes on the lower part of the Quena and their corresponding place on the staff. Repeat each combination as many time as necessary until you know the notes by heart and the combinations become easier.
notes conversion: SOL=G | LA=A | SI=B
G= All holes on the Quena are covered
A = All holes are covered except for hole number six on the upper part of the Quena
B = All holes are covered except for hole number six and number 5 on the upper part of the Quena
The following example contains all the notes on the Quena and their corresponding places on the music staff, starting on the lowest note the Quena produces.
(After pressing play, please, allow some time for sound files to load)

Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wished to say that I’ve truly enjoyed surfing around your blog posts. After all I’ll be subscribing to your rss feed and I hope you write again very soon!| а
This is the best Quena course around!. If you do all the exercises and practice them as instructed, you will really be able to master the instrument. Great repertoire too. I’ve had a lot of compliments on my playing.
